Consistent and intensive research is vital in advancing a cure to what can be a devastating disease. We need significant funding to continue with this critical work so we can change the landscape into the future.
EDUCATION AND AWARENESS
Breast health awareness is key to early detection and diagnosis. Our team of 6 Outreach Co-Ordinators visit schools, companies and community groups advising on good breast health, the signs & symptoms to look for and how to perform a self check properly. This complimentary service is a vital resource and your support will make a big difference.
FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Breast Cancer Ireland invests significantly in funding many Fellowships and Scholarships across Ireland. These allow our funded researchers to investigate and conduct clinical trials into a variety of new treatments and targeted drug therapies for those diagnosed. They dedicate their lives to finding new ways to treat and indeed prevent this disease and we need your support to help them continue in their efforts
NEW BREAST CANCER CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTRE
Breast Cancer Ireland are supporting the creation of a new state of the art Breast Cancer Clinical Research Centre, situated on the grounds of Beaumont Hospital. The Centre will offer a truly translational experience, from bench to bedside for patients diagnosed, with access to the latest imaging, and clinical trial therapies available. To have the best, we need your support.
Where your money goes
€10€10 per month could fund something, as big collectively, as our Clinical Research Centre or as small as petri dishes to analyse and culture numerous variations of cancer cells
€21€21 per month could help fund an hour with one of our Education & Outreach Coordinators who meet with schools and women in the workplace, all over Ireland, providing our “Breast Health Programme” #awarenesssaveslives, helping women of all ages to be breast health/cancer aware
€35€35 per month could contribute towards our investment in pioneering Fellowship & Scholarship programmes, allowing for newer more effective therapies to be developed
