According to a study published in the journal, Annals of Oncology, mortality rates from breast cancer are predicted to fall across Europe in 2019 thanks to improvements in screening, early diagnosis and treatment. Breast Cancer Ireland hopes that with more research, mortality rates will continue to decrease in the coming years.
