Latest breast cancer trends report from The National Cancer Registry

According to the report from the National Cancer Registry, new figures reveal that more breast cancer patients than ever are beating the disease in Ireland. The death rate from the disease fell by around 2% annually between 1994-2016. Welcoming these findings, Minister for Health Simon Harris promised the BreastCheck screening programme will be extended to those aged 65-69 by the end of 2021.
