Breast Cancer Ireland "Race for a Cure" Race Day in Leopardstown

The Breast Cancer Ireland ‘Race for a Cure’ Race Day, proudly supported by Porsche Centre Dublin and Joe Duffy Group, was held on Sunday, April 2nd. The sold out event saw almost 400 friends and supporters from our BCI community gather together for the first time in 3 years. MC’d by the ever fabulous James Patrice, the Race Day included an auction led by renowned Goffs Auctioneer, Nicholas Nugent, raffle, racing (of course!) and entertainment by The Victory Dolls who added a touch of 1940’s vintage class to proceedings. Overall the Race for a Cure event raised a staggering €100,000 (after costs) which will now be used to fund ongoing education and awareness programmes all across the island of Ireland, whilst also funding cutting edge research into new treatments and therapies for the disease. #ResearchMatters
