The Nissan M2M Cycle will take place from the 1st – 4th June where a group of over 50 cyclists including Gerry  Greene, Anne Campbell, Frank Rutledge ,France Mullin, Hugh Campbell, Joan Kehoe ,Paul Gallagher, Wendy  O’ Hora, Kevin Mulligan,  Linda Tormey, Ronnie Murray and Patricia Rowley will embark on a cycle from Mizen to Malin to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland and Kilmacud / Glenalbyn Sports Club. The group hope to exceed last year’s figure of euro 80,000. To sponsor a cyclist go to mycharity.ie Photography: Sasko Lazarov/Photocall IrelandMembers of South Dublin GAA Club, Kilmacud Crokes handed over a cheque for €54,000 to Breast Cancer Ireland which they raised as part of the Mizen to Malin Challenge which took place over the June Bank Holiday Weekend. Now in its third year, the group raised over €108,000 with the other half of funds going to club development.

Events such as this are an amazing way of raising awareness within communities of the importance of breast health”
Commenting on this tough challenge, Chairman of the fundraising committee, Liam O’Carroll said, “It was a gruelling few days but the weather was good to us and with the support of friends, family and our generous sponsors, we are absolutely thrilled to have raised such a substantial figure for Breast Cancer Ireland and our Club.”
