75 Riders of the Oldcastle Motorcycle Club joined forces for the inaugural Liam Sheridan Memorial Bike Run in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.
The Bike Run also known as a "Poker Run" involves the selection of a playing card in 5 designated stops on the mapped route and at the end of the completed route the best "card hand "wins.
The route which commenced at Moylagh Church, Oldcastle, travelled across country to Longford, Carrick-on-Shannon, Enniskillen and down through Cavan and finally returning to Oldcastle Town. The route, noted for its' scenery, was mapped and planned by the late Liam Sheridan, a founding member of the Club.
A fantastic amount of €2,790 was raised on the day and all proceeds went to Breast Cancer Ireland.
