Breast Cancer Ireland would like to congratulate all who completed the 10K and to raising a truly fantastic amount of sponsorship, which will be directed towards breast cancer research.
We are very grateful for you support and interest in breast cancer research. Our ultimate aim is to facilitate the implementation of the very latest advances in breast cancer treatment and research and to ensure that they are available to all patients diagnosed with this disease.
34 Employees from BNY Mellon took part on behalf on Breast Cancer Ireland. Janet Wright from BNY Mellon said 'BNY Mellon turned out in force on a gloomy Sunday in July to take part in the inaugural Dublin Waterways 10K run. 34 employees took part, recording times from 36 minutes to somewhat longer than that. The pink T shirts kept everyone going as every time someone felt like flagging, they were scooped up by a colleague. The teamwork on the day was amazing and everyone has committed to taking part again next year. Altogether BNY Mellon has raised close to €5000 for Breast Cancer Ireland.
