Professor Arnold Hill and Nurse Trudi Roche from the Breast Cancer Unit at Beaumont Hospital visited Cadbury's Chocolate factory on 6th February to receive a cheque for funds raised (€4,250) by Ms Elaine McGrory and staff.
At the presentation, Professor Hill spoke about future plans for the Breast Clinic, the importance of breast cancer research and the work that is currently being undertaken in its laboratories.
"We are thrilled with the support of Cadbury's staff and the fantastic amount raised. We had a very interesting tour of the factory and most importantly, we got to taste the chocolate!" said Professor Hill.
