Breast Cancer Ireland (BCI) is delighted to participate in a joint venture initiative with Textile Recycling Limited (TRL) in their provision of newly painted “Pink” clothing banks at recycling centres throughout Ireland.

Aisling Hurley from BCI said “This is an exciting initiative that allows the public to not only help raise vital funding for breast cancer research but also greatly heightens BCI awareness amongst communities nationwide.” TRL works closely with Local Authorities to divert textile waste away from Landfills and to promote the culture of Re-Use.  TRL are fully compliant with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of the Environment and have received support from the European Regional Fund.
