“I am very proud to be the inaugural Brand Ambassador for Breast Cancer Ireland. Supporting scientific research is critical, especially in the area of cancer research, if we hope to make significant advances in curing this disease. The team at Breast Cancer Ireland realise that as a relatively small country, all eight designated cancer centres should collaborate their work in an effort to speed up discovery times and facilitate better treatment outcomes for patients.
With this in mind they have established the country’s first “National Breast Cancer Research & Personalised Patient Care Programme”.
